Tanjung Puting National Park is a national park in Indonesia located in the southeast part of West Kotawaringin Regency in the Indonesian province of Central Kalimantan (Central Borneo). The nearest main town is the capital of the Regency, Pangkalan Bun. The park is famous for its orangutan conservation.

Ittinerary

First Day:
Pangkalan Bun – Kumai – Tanjung Harapan Tour will start at noon to adjust to the arrival schedule at Pangkalan Bun. Local Guide will pick up participants from the Airport or Hotel in Pangkalan Bun to go directly to the port in Kumai and directly take a boat to Camp Tanjung Harapan, meet directly with Orangutans. In the afternoon the journey continues along the river while looking for the right place to spend the night, in the evening we will stay overnight on the boat with mattresses, pillows and mosquito nets provided. The ship is also equipped with a toilet and bathroom. (L / D)

Second Day:
Pondok Tanggui – Camp Lakey When waking up on a peaceful morning, the chirping of birds and the sounds of nature will make the first morning at Tanjung Puting different from the morning atmosphere in a city full of hustle and bustle. The second day’s journey continues to Camp Pondok Tanggui, coinciding with the Orangutan feeding time at 9 am the participants will walk to the feeding site which takes about 20 minutes on foot. In addition to seeing Orangutans, you can also see Semar Pouch plants that love to eat insects. Once satisfied with meeting the Orangutan, the journey continues with the Ship to Camp Lakey, the last Orangutan post we will visit. Along the journey on the river that has black water we will be treated to a panorama of unspoiled forest. (B / L / D)

Third Day:
Camp Lakey – Jungle Trekking Morning after breakfast will be cooled to the pristine Kalimantan forest accompanied by a ranger from the National Park. Enjoy the fresh scent of trees, pay attention to various wild animals such as birds, insects, monkeys, proboscis monkeys and others. The length of the track will be adjusted to the capabilities of the agreed tour participants. In the afternoon, we saw orangutan feeding at Camp Lakey, continued by returning to the ship after it was finished and immediately left slowly to find a place to stay. (B / L / D)

Day Four:
Tanjung Puting National Park – Kumai – Pangkalan Bun On the last day after a little relieved enjoying the last day in Tanjung Puting National Park then we will continue the journey back to the Port in Kumai adjusting to the flight schedule back to each city. (B) And the tour ends after we send you back to the airport or hotel.
